Getting ready for the career that suits you with Global Infowings

Many high school students feel that they need to have their whole lives planned out before graduation. That’s a lot of pressure to take on, and it really isn’t practical because your goals and desires change over time. At this point, the best way to prepare for the process of career planning is to take some steps to get to know more about yourself.
Start by considering your options. You can take many paths, and you may discover new talents and passions in the process of exploring.
Consider Your Strengths and Weaknesses
Make a list of your five top strengths and weaknesses. What sorts of employers would be interested in your strengths? If you’re a good public speaker, for example, explore what types of careers call for that skill.
Your weaknesses can also tell you a lot about where you might go. You can either steer away from careers that require skills you’re not confident about or work to improve weaknesses that may keep you from your goals.

Identify Defining Experiences

Think about three experiences that taught you something about yourself. Choose the one that gave you the greatest sense of satisfaction and write a sentence that explains why that was so. If you can pinpoint what makes you happy, you can aim toward a career that will provide those types of experiences.
What you love doing?
It might sound obvious, but the first thing to do is to think about what you love doing and what you're really good at. Whether that’s at school, or at home, or with friends — which activities make you lose track of time? Which make you feel energized? And what is it about those activities that you find so absorbing? Note your thoughts down.

Prepping for Admission Interviews

With the admission season upon us, all of us worry, not just about the grades but also the personal interviews and group discussion that form a part of the admission package. The interviewers go beyond flipping through pages of grades; rather they want to find out whether or not the applicant will be a productive addition to the college environment.

While the process of interview and discussions in a group may seem like a scary prospect, there are a few ways to handle the pre-interview jitters.

Preparing for a Personal Interview (PI)

Although your admission into the college does not depend solely on your performance in the personal interview, it does help to create a favorable impression nonetheless.

Describe yourself: internet personality tests are not going to come to your rescue here. You will need to sum up your life and interests in a few sentences. But make sure those sentences are memorable enough for the interviewer.

Why this college: the answer at the tip of your tongue should not be ‘good placement opportunities.’ Rather focus on your intellectual interests and how the college will help you achieve the same.

Role model(s): this is a question that you need to answer carefully and with enough validation and clarity. Your role model can be a real life person or a fictional character. The point is to convince the interviewer about your idol’s influence on your life and how they have helped you grow.

Preparing for Group Discussions (GD)

Group Discussions are an important mechanism to ascertain whether or not the candidate possesses certain characteristics like team work, team leadership, independent thinking etc. You can always be prepared to tackle the group discussion with grace and confidence by keeping a few tips in mind.

Updated information: keep yourself well stocked about the current affairs by leafing through magazines and newspapers.  Substantiating your claims with well conducted research about the topics will also be beneficial.

Grasping the topic: once the topic for the group discussion is given, give yourself a few moments to gather your thoughts so that you can communicate your views in a clear and precise manner. Hone your communication skills a few days before the date with the help of your friends and family.

Initiate discussion: a time tested way to impress the interviewer is to take initiative to lead and participate in the discussion without hogging the conversation.

While it is always beneficial to be prepared for an interview that might come knocking on your door any moment, it is first necessary to decide the college and the career that you want to pursue.

Choosing a career in 2016

Most students know what type of degree they want to earn, but have not thought about how they want to use it. Some are good with technologies and some are with challenges they face. This is the time for you to understand yourself and decide which way you should go. Enhance your thinking capabilities to start a life which you want. India is moving rapidly with the world, where every sector creates a new field of opportunities for professionals. To choose the right career option for a 'bright future', teenagers have lot of options.

Students pick a career for many reasons, which may not be always right. Money, prestige, and charm are a few of the factors that can enter into the equation. Yet choosing something that simply sounds exciting may not be the best option.

Familiarity with a career doesn't always mean that it's the right career for you. Although no one can predict the future, it makes sense to opt for that career which entertains your mind and your life. In today's competitive world students are more aware of the fact that having a good career is the only key to success. There are list of many different career options that a student can choose from. But the top career options that a student can go for are :

Business Administration: Masters in business administration also widely known as MBA is a master's degree in business administration (management). BUT the question is why MBA? Well from decades students with an MBA/PGDM degree have got placed in many high end companies with fat salary packages.

Medical Career: Medical field in India has emerged as one of the most sought after professional course. This is most rewarding career for those interested in science and dealing with people. In this sector students can choose various fields like Doctors, Surgeons, Dentists, Physicians, and many more.

Engineering: This is the career which every student with high creativity level and who loves challenges can opt for.

Some of the other options include – Civil Service, Film Making, Designing and Photography.

When making that all-important decision, be aware of overrated careers where the reality of the day-to-day routine never approaches the expectations. Sometimes a job is significantly more difficult than it appears. Keeping your options open, even if the career decision seems obvious, can work to your advantage. Continue to research the profession’s job responsibilities. To avoid disappointment, think ahead, and try to anticipate where the voids will be in the career market.

So check your career moves carefully and consider Global Infowings – India’s leading one-stop career consultant. Global Infowings helps you to choose your careers wisely and carefully. We are always there to help you and show you the right path towards your dreams.  For more information call us +91 98440-11340 or Email: ginfowings@gmail.com or visit our website: www.globalinfowings.com

The biggest achievement in education can be the prefix ‘Dr’ before one’s name and also respect which comes along. Besides the high salaries doctors earn, they can also do private practice (commercial as well as social service) which brings in extra income and moral satisfaction.

MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) is the most popular and designated degree of doctors. As the name itself tells us that it has two divisions. These are the two bachelor degrees  as the Bachelor of Medicine and the Bachelor of Surgery. Despite their styling as two degrees, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery are usually conferred together. It is the only bachelor degree that makes the students eligible to carry the term “doctor” with their name. It takes the duration of 5.5 years for the completion of the degree.

In the past decade there has been a huge surge of demands for medical seats. However, it is a tough course to pursue but can be successfully achieved with hard work and determination.

Course

MBBS is a 5.5 year (4.5 years academic education + 1 year mandatory internship) UG degree programme leading to the two degrees as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.

MBBS is one of the most sought courses after 12th when it comes to choosing a professional degree courses. There are many colleges and universities from across the countries that offer MBBS degree; however, Bangalore is one of the most preferred destinations.
